Scotland
Just spent a long weekend in Scotland. Weather was unbelievably perfect with cool temperatures and good snow conditions in the mountains. Which was great because it meant the hangovers weren’t as bad as they could have been. Pic shows Dr Mike Boyle finishing the last pitch of Dorsal Arete in Stob Coire nan Lochan, Glencoe. It’s an easy and fun winter route and last Friday we had it to ourselves. A brilliant day out.
Immediately behind Mike are the cliffs of SCnL. The second snow-less ridge further behind is the Aonach Eagach, one of the classic ridge traverses in Glencoe, and in the distance with snow on it’s top is Scotland’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis.
